Deviled Eggs

Devilled Eggs

Boiled eggs , halfed then refilled with a mix of thier own yolks, spices and herbs.

Equipment

  • 1 pipping bag or pipping tool

Ingredients
  

  • 5 eggs hard boiled
  • 45 gram onion finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp mayonaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp blackpepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dill
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 2-4 drops pickling liquid/brine
  • 3 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Cut the boiled eggs into halves.
  • Take out the yolks.
  • Mix the yolks with rest of the ingridients untill its smooth.
  • Put the mix in a pipping tool with nozzle of your choice.
  • Pipe the mix in to the cavities of the halved eggs.
  • Refrigerate and served chilled.

Notes

  1. you can customise the spices and seasonings as per your liking. it should be tangy and slightly spicy.
  2. Deviled eggs trace thier origin back to ancient rome.
  3. Its basicaly finger food, served in parties.
